I just learned about the recommended 30 plants a week from Dr. Will Bulsiewicz on Diary of a CEO! I'm also looking for ways to add more veggies, and use up open pasta packages in my cupboard. You sure you're not describing my kitchen? Thanks for giving me this little peek into your fridge and life 😊

Ha ha! To be fair that's probably a lot of people's kitchens, right? Because you never use a whole pasta packet! Well, whenever I do, we end up throwing a bunch in the food bin.

I'm excited to see if and how I can make it to 30 plants in a week. I think I have a good head start as I definitely tend towards throwing a tonne of veg in any meal, but I also know I have a tendency to rely on aa certain handful (amd probably not 30!) regular vegetables.

I think Dr. Bulsiewicz clarified that it is 30 different plants we should be eating each week. Not only does that include vegetables, but also fruits, legumes, nuts, seeds, whole grains and herbs. Coffee and tea (so long as they are taken black) fit into that category. But you're right. I also rely on a handful of regular plants and should experiment more.

Yes, it's a good point that including nuts and seeds and herbs and spices, too, can bring it up. I'm going to start logging it next week and see where I currently am. And I think I'll definitely be writing about that on the new substack (thank you for pre-subscribing, by the way - keeps me motivated and on track, if know people are interested to read).
