I don't know how to vote as I love what you do now. But I would encourage you to use it how you want to , sorry for the non answer.i will always consume and enjoy anything you produce. Sunday or Wednesdays are the days I have more time to read long posts. But I love the joy of daily art from you so allways managed to find time
Thank you. Yes, I do need to answer it myself and do what feels right for me. It does help to know what other people think and would prefer, though, even if I end up doing something different. Obviously part of sharing things here has to do with wanting other people to see and read, because otherwise I could/should just write a personal diary.
When I mentioned I was thinking of perhaps changing media for the daily drawing, Chris said that I can't stop before I've been doing it for a whole year. Of course, that made me want to stop more! But I have also been thinking about that a bit and I do not honestly see why I shouldn't. I know that milestones and numbers like that can be helpful, but I do not see any point in keeping something going purely for the milestone, if it has stopped providing whatever it was providing. I don't actually think Morning Ink has fully stopped giving me a lot, but I also think it is giving me less than it did and there other creative practices that are starting to call a bit louder and if it feels good to me to listen to them, I should do so without feeling any kind of guilt/failure/shame if that means I don't make a 'full year'.
I chose “something else” but I do love the daily posts. I tend not to look at Notes because I find it too much of a time-suck for me, whereas posts are something I intentionally consume.
I chose “something else” because I’m here for whatever feels best to those who are sharing it. If you feel like changing things up, it’s probably the thing to do because it will keep you interested and therefore more interesting for me!
Thank you. And, yes, a very good point about keeping myself interested to stay of interest. Because boredom does show through.
Though, I have also been reminded that creativity often sprouts from stretches of boredom, so that’s probably something I need to keep in mind, at a personal level at least!
I didn’t follow your Daily Ink pages until you started sending them daily—and for what it’s worth, I do enjoy seeing what you draw every day and reading your short posts. I do think sofa snippets are less interesting and would welcome instead a post now and then on topics.

Thank you! This is really good to know.
