Felt worse yesterday, though the brain fog is still lifted, so I was able to do some work, but a lot slower than on Wednesday. And cooked properly again (spicy tomato, courgette and tofu noodles). And read some more of We Need Your Art. And switched from A Suitable Boy to David Nicholls’s You Are Here.
Because I need to wait until I have my own copy, so I don’t have anxiety about damaging the book every time I pick it up, which is what started happening. I was enjoying it and definitely want to read it. That said, I do think You Are Here is more suited to this slightly slower ill brain.
I also managed to do some work drawing in the evening, while sat on the sofa watching This Is Us.
I continue to listen to Mansfield Park while drawing.
Today will be more work, hopefully at a slightly faster rate than yesterday, but I’ll let my body dictate that and take breaks as needed. I probably don’t need to cook (for myself, anyway) as no-one else ate the noodles, so I will have plenty to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

The pilot/first episode of This Is Us is fantastic. A joy of an episode even as a standalone. The series was good, but that pilot gave me a rare moment of true TV appreciation.
