The pilot/first episode of This Is Us is fantastic. A joy of an episode even as a standalone. The series was good, but that pilot gave me a rare moment of true TV appreciation.
I have to admit that I don’t remember the pilot being special. I just love the whole show, and it’s an easy rewatch when I need something in the background.
