Yes, I like how you can get Substack to show you what yu want to see, for the most part. It's definitely a calmer space than other social media.

Good call on focusing on what you can focus on at the moment. I think there are times when that is essential and we should be able to do without guilt (though admittedly I definitely haven't got rid of the guilt).

And yes, doors! I take a lot of photos of buildings in old general here and abroad. I think we talked about this last year … Spanish doorways with tiles! And steps. And walls. Just gorgeous!

Good to read your thoughts, loves and activities.

After spending years being an anti-Brexit activist, I just can’t do it anymore. In fact, although I keep up with the news, I just cannot deal with the intensely fragmented political world we’re living in. I find I’m not in either camp, somewhere in the middle, and this lack of alignment is troubling for me.

So, like you, I’m focusing on different more positive things in my life: culture, art, museums, mindfulness, healthy food and exercise. That’s why I signed up to Substack as it’s a nice platform which I can tailor to specific subjects much more easily than other social media.
