Oooh! I'm getting stressed hearing about how much you are doing, Tasha! But yes, I'm with you, I wish there was more time in the day to do all the fun things! <3
Ha ha. The funny thing is I actually do get more done when I'm really busy. I have a nice quiet period now and I'm honestly struggling to fit more in because I find I want to use that quiet time to *just* sit. I should be using this time to fill it to the brim with everything I've been wanting to do for months.
We are trying to work on our new place because the walls are in way worse condition than we had thought/hoped and I have been shuttling back and forth with buckets and brushes and bags of grout mix and it’s about an hour and a half on metro-metro-bus one way and it’s been going great and I have been spackling and sanding and then yesterday around 7 pm I just shut off and didn’t switch on again until this morning around 8.30. It was like someone had pulled the plug on me.
Cheering to you for admitting you are human and still learning how to function. You are describing one of the big lessons of life - we always have more of we need/want/wish to do than time for it and we have to let some things go. I hope you celebrate all you get done and use self-compassion in case you feel that you missed smth or messed up.

Oh how I feel you.

Oh goodness. But that’s at least a more satisfying reason to shut down! I love the collapse after full-on physical work like that. It feels justified!
It does!! No one even tried to wake me lol

Thank you. So very true.
